The POS built for a shop where every sale needs an ID.
An age check built into every sale, stock counts across hundreds of products, and lower card fees. One system, set up by CDI.

Why this is different
A tobacco shop is not like other stores.
Almost everything you sell needs an age check, and you carry hundreds of products that change often. Most registers were not built for either of those. Here are four reasons that matters.
Every sale needs an ID check
Not some sales. Nearly all of them. The check has to be part of the sale, not something a cashier has to remember on a busy night.
Hundreds of products that change
New flavors, new brands, new devices every month. You need a stock list that is quick to update, or it stops matching what is really on the shelf.
One mistake is expensive
A failed age check can mean a fine or worse. The cost of one slip is far higher than the cost of a system that asks every time.
Card fees on every sale
Card fees come out of each sale. Lowering the rate keeps more of what you earn on the products that sell the most.
Age verification
Make the age check happen every single time.
In a tobacco or vape shop the age check is not the exception. It is nearly every sale. The NRS POS asks at the register, so it happens the same way whether the owner or a new cashier is working.
- The register asks before the sale goes through.
- A new cashier follows the same steps as the owner.
- Nobody has to remember to do it on a busy night.
The risk is rarely the customer who clearly looks young. It is the busy evening when the check gets skipped once. A prompt on the screen means your cashier does not have to decide.
Inventory
Keep track of hundreds of products that change every month.
Your stock changes faster than almost any other kind of store. New flavors and devices come and go. A system that makes it quick to add and count products is the difference between knowing what you have and guessing.
Fast to add new stock
When a new brand or flavor arrives, it goes on the system in seconds and starts counting itself down as you sell.
See what actually moves
Some products fly off the shelf and some never sell. The system shows you which, so you stop ordering the ones that sit.
You can read more about the software on our POS software page.
Only from CDI
Give people another reason to come in.
CDI sells both NRS and Boss Revolution. So one company sets up your register and your phone and money services. That means international calls, phone top-ups, and e-gifts, all from the same machine.
Your customers pay in cash and you earn money on each one. See the Boss Revolution page to learn more.
Card payments
Keep more of every sale.
Card fees take a slice of every sale. CDI sets up your card payments through NRS Credit Card Processing. Send us your current statement and we will beat the rate you pay now.
The $199 bundle
The register equipment and card payments together, with no contract. Your customers pay the card fee.
Or a cash discount program
Would you rather your customers see one price? Cash Discount is the other way to do it. We will explain which one fits your store.
Questions
Common questions from store owners.
How long does it take to get set up?
CDI takes care of the application, the equipment, and the setup. Call 303-273-5800 and we will tell you what your store needs and what happens next. There is no charge to ask.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. There is no contract. We do it that way on purpose, so you can leave if the system is not working for you.
Does the register handle age checks on its own?
Yes. It asks for an age check at the register where one is needed, the same way every time. Tell us what you sell when you call and CDI will set it up that way.
Do you support Spanish-speaking staff and customers?
Yes. Se habla español — you can speak to us in Spanish, and this site is available in Spanish too.
