A POS built for the butcher counter.
Sell by weight, keep track of fresh stock, and take EBT from your regular shoppers. One system, set up by CDI.

Why this is different
A meat market runs on weight and freshness.
Nearly everything is priced by the pound, cut to order, and does not keep. Many of your shoppers pay with EBT. A register built for packaged goods will slow you down all day.
Priced by the pound
Cuts are weighed and priced at the counter as you serve them. The register has to weigh and price fast, correctly, in front of the customer.
Cut to order
Every order is a little different. You need to ring up a custom cut quickly, without holding up the line behind it.
Fresh stock that does not keep
What is in the case is money already spent that will spoil. Seeing what sells is how you order and cut the right amount, and waste less.
EBT and card shoppers
Fresh meat qualifies for SNAP, and card fees hit every other sale. Both matter to what you keep at the end of the week.
Weighed items
Weigh, price, and serve without slowing the counter.
A meat counter is almost all weighed, cut-to-order sales. How it is set up depends on the scales you already have, which is why CDI goes through it with you rather than just sending a box.
- Tell us which scales you already use. That changes the setup.
- Weigh, price, and ring up a custom cut in one go.
- A new counter worker can price correctly on their first day.
Weighed items are where a meat-market register works or fails, and every shop's scales are different. This part is worth a phone call. Call 303-273-5800.
Benefits shoppers
Take EBT, and keep a weekly customer.
Fresh meat is exactly what SNAP is meant to buy. For a neighborhood butcher that means the same shoppers coming back every week, not one-time sales, and they choose the store where their card works.
EBT and SNAP
Approved fresh meat rings up together with everything else in the sale. CDI fills in the government application and gets you approved.
A reason to come back
A shopper who can use their benefits at your counter comes back every week, instead of once. That is steady business, not a one-time sale.
Full details on how approval works are on our EBT and eWIC page.
Only from CDI
Give people another reason to come in.
CDI sells both NRS and Boss Revolution. So one company sets up your register and your phone and money services. That means international calls, phone top-ups, and e-gifts, all from the same machine.
Your customers pay in cash and you earn money on each one. See the Boss Revolution page to learn more.
Card payments
Keep more of every sale.
Card fees take a slice of every sale. CDI sets up your card payments through NRS Credit Card Processing. Send us your current statement and we will beat the rate you pay now.
The $199 bundle
The register equipment and card payments together, with no contract. Your customers pay the card fee.
Or a cash discount program
Would you rather your customers see one price? Cash Discount is the other way to do it. We will explain which one fits your store.
Questions
Common questions from store owners.
How long does it take to get set up?
CDI takes care of the application, the equipment, and the setup. Call 303-273-5800 and we will tell you what your store needs and what happens next. There is no charge to ask.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. There is no contract. We do it that way on purpose, so you can leave if the system is not working for you.
Can it price by weight and take EBT?
Yes. It weighs and prices cuts at the counter and accepts EBT for fresh meat. Tell us which scales you have when you call and CDI will set it up with you.
Do you support Spanish-speaking staff and customers?
Yes. Se habla español — you can speak to us in Spanish, and this site is available in Spanish too.
