A POS that fits the way a bakery really works.
Sell by the piece or by weight, keep the morning line moving, and waste less of what you bake. One system, set up by CDI.

Why this is different
A bakery sells differently from most shops.
Some things sell by the piece, some by weight, and all of it has to sell today. Most registers were not built for that.
Sold by the piece or by weight
A single roll, a dozen, or a cake by weight are all different. The register has to price each one correctly and quickly at the counter.
Fresh stock that does not last
What you bake today is money you have already spent. Seeing what is selling, while you can still sell it, is how you waste less at the end of the day.
The morning rush
Most of a bakery's day happens before nine. The register has to be quick and simple, so the line keeps moving while everything is still warm.
Card fees on every sale
Card fees come out of each sale. On small tickets they add up fast. Lowering the rate keeps more of every dollar.
Weighed and counted items
Price by the piece or by the pound, without slowing down.
A bakery counter mixes single items, boxes, and things sold by weight. The NRS POS handles all three at the register, so the line keeps moving even on a Saturday morning.
- Ring up single items, boxes, and weighed goods in one sale.
- A new counter worker can price things correctly on their first day.
- Setup matches the scales you already use.
How your counter is set up depends on the scales you have and the way you sell. That is worth a quick phone call rather than a web form. Call 303-273-5800.
Fresh stock
Sell more of what you bake, and throw away less.
Waste is the quiet cost in a bakery. You already paid for the flour, the time, and the oven. Seeing what sells, while it is still fresh, is what turns yesterday's guesswork into today's order.
See what sells each day
The system shows which items go quickly and which sit. You bake to match, instead of guessing and binning the rest.
Fast mornings
Ring up your everyday items in a couple of taps, so the counter stays fast even with one person on it.
You can read more about the software on our POS software page.
Only from CDI
Give people another reason to come in.
CDI sells both NRS and Boss Revolution. So one company sets up your register and your phone and money services. That means international calls, phone top-ups, and e-gifts, all from the same machine.
Your customers pay in cash and you earn money on each one. See the Boss Revolution page to learn more.
Card payments
Keep more of every sale.
Card fees take a slice of every sale, and bakery tickets are often small. CDI sets up your card payments through NRS Credit Card Processing. Send us your current statement and we will beat the rate you pay now.
The $199 bundle
The register equipment and card payments together, with no contract. Your customers pay the card fee.
Or a cash discount program
Would you rather your customers see one price? Cash Discount is the other way to do it. We will explain which one fits your store.
Questions
Common questions from store owners.
How long does it take to get set up?
CDI takes care of the application, the equipment, and the setup. Call 303-273-5800 and we will tell you what your store needs and what happens next. There is no charge to ask.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. There is no contract. We do it that way on purpose, so you can leave if the system is not working for you.
Can it sell items by weight?
Yes. It prices items by the piece or by weight. Tell us how you sell and which scales you have when you call, and CDI will set it up with you.
Do you support Spanish-speaking staff and customers?
Yes. Se habla español — you can speak to us in Spanish, and this site is available in Spanish too.
