A POS built for high volume and low prices.
Thousands of items, fast checkout, and card fees kept low on small sales. One system for your store, set up by CDI.

Why this is different
A dollar store makes its money on volume.
You sell a lot of low-priced items to a lot of people. That means the line has to move fast and every small cost matters. Most registers are not built for that kind of day.
Thousands of low-priced items
You carry a huge range of cheap products that change often. You need fast scanning and a stock list that keeps up, not one you fight with.
Small tickets, real card fees
When the average sale is a few dollars, the card fee is a big share of it. Lowering the rate matters more here than almost anywhere else.
Know what actually sells
With this many products, some sell every day and some never move. Seeing which is how you keep cash off shelves that do not turn.
Thin margins on everything
You do not make much on any one item, so you make it on the count. Small savings on fees and waste go straight to what you keep.
Fast checkout
Keep a long line moving at a few dollars a sale.
A dollar store's busiest hours are a lot of small, fast sales. A slow register costs you customers who put the basket down and leave. The NRS POS scans fast and keeps the line moving.
- Scan fast, with prices already set.
- A new cashier can ring up sales on their first day.
- Take cash and card in the same quick sale.
At a few dollars a sale, one customer walking out of a long line is a bigger share of your day than in most stores. A register that keeps up pays for itself.
Inventory and margin
Control the two things you can actually control.
You cannot change the price shoppers expect, but you can control what you waste and what you pay in fees. On thin margins, those are the numbers that decide whether a good week is a profitable one.
Stock that counts itself
Every sale takes one off the count across thousands of items, so you order what sells and skip what sits.
Lower cost per sale
Between a lower card rate and less dead stock, you keep more of every small ticket. That is where a dollar store's profit lives.
You can read more about the software on our POS software page.
Only from CDI
Give people another reason to come in.
CDI sells both NRS and Boss Revolution. So one company sets up your register and your phone and money services. That means international calls, phone top-ups, and e-gifts, all from the same machine.
Your customers pay in cash and you earn money on each one. See the Boss Revolution page to learn more.
Card payments
Keep more of every sale.
On small tickets, the card fee is a large share of the sale. CDI sets up your card payments through NRS Credit Card Processing. Send us your current statement and we will beat the rate you pay now.
The $199 bundle
The register equipment and card payments together, with no contract. Your customers pay the card fee.
Or a cash discount program
Would you rather your customers see one price? Cash Discount is the other way to do it. We will explain which one fits your store.
Questions
Common questions from store owners.
How long does it take to get set up?
CDI takes care of the application, the equipment, and the setup. Call 303-273-5800 and we will tell you what your store needs and what happens next. There is no charge to ask.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. There is no contract. We do it that way on purpose, so you can leave if the system is not working for you.
Can a dollar store take EBT?
Sometimes. Some dollar and discount stores sell packaged food that qualifies for SNAP. If yours does, tell us when you call and CDI will set up EBT for the items that are eligible. If you do not sell food, you do not need it.
Do you support Spanish-speaking staff and customers?
Yes. Se habla español — you can speak to us in Spanish, and this site is available in Spanish too.
